Why healing your past, claiming your vision, and releasing resistance is the real path to prosperity.
It’s been 20 years since I starting down the path as a healer. At the time, I worked in corporate finance.
I’d spent 22 years working my way up the corporate ladder: From customer service to credit. From entry level, to college graduate in business to the highest level commercial underwriter for a major bank.
Back then, abundance wasn’t an issue. I was in the “high ticket” group, working on loans in excess of $5 million. I analyzed sales, income, cash flow, net worth and more – as I decided whether to give the green light or red light for millions of dollars.
Some of the names that crossed my desk were: David Letterman, Aretha Franklin, Christina Aguilera, the Eagles, Barry Manilow, and many others. There were loans for corporate jets, fleets of heavy construction equipment, trains and more.
I was paid well, had allot of vacation time, collected bonuses, traveled internationally, owned two homes (one in Phoenix with a pool, and one in the mountains where it was cooler), bought new cars, and generally lived an affluent lifestyle.
But there was a voice inside that told me there was something more. There was a direction that I needed to go in to help others.
So I started to attend healing arts school on nights and weekends, and I felt at home. In the magical halls of that sacred place where I could feel at peace, while learning tools that not only would help others – but myself as well.
Because the truth is: I had allot of healing work to do. I came from a family that was shattered by alcoholism; a father who suffered from the trauma of war, and abuse as a child that was never healed.
There were many losses along my path; from divorces to pregnancies, not to mention the passing of family members. There were toxic relationships with narcissists too.
It was a rollercoaster ride of survival, and the corporate career was my stability. But there was that soul nudge to let go of that security blanket that I knew for so long, and take the leap.
And boy, was it ever a leap. I jumped into a winding path of direct sales in health and beauty, having offices where I used my clinical hypnotherapy and life coaching skills and going online to sell my programs.
But along the way, I ran into the pitfalls that many healers do: Struggling to charge and receive the abundance that I knew when I worked for someone else. Because now: The product I was selling was me.
Call it lack of deep inner confidence, money wounds from this life or past lives, or not being in my power. And it became a struggle.
I worked with other gifted healers to help me see what I couldn’t see, and received the guidance I needed to break through my own barriers. Because every great healer needs help seeing what they cannot.
And through my own work with clients; whether it was weight loss, healing from narcissistic relationships and getting on track in life or getting unstuck and on purpose, the message was clear: It’s a three step process.
Heal. Clarify. Clear.
Now I know this sounds incredibly simple, but there’s work to do under each piece. And the catch is: Even though we empaths and healers believe that we can do it all on our own, we can’t.
The truth is that we can’t read the label when we’re inside the jar. We need the right healer to help guide us to the places we need to go so we can have a breakthrough.
So eventually, I developed The Clearly Blissful Breakthrough™ method. This framework takes you through the process that gives you the fastest and most effective results. (Okay, I don’t mean it’s instantaneous, but it’s way quicker than you can ever do on your own.)
The thing is, we can stay stuck and spinning our wheels for years – never getting the help we need to have a real breakthrough, and that especially happens in the area of abundance. (And especially for healers.)
So let’s look at the steps:
Heal. This is step one. Here’s why: If you were going to eat dinner, would you grab last night’s uncleaned dinner plate and put a fresh meal on it? Certainly not. You need to wash it first.
So we need to do the same and heal that stuff that’s holding us back on a soul level. After all, we have ancestral patterns, inner child wounds, past-life vows and stories that don’t even belong to us.
When we don’t clear it, then it holds us back from living the life we’re meant to. And believe me when I say, there’s stuff back there that you’re not consciously aware of. And just when you think you’ve done it all, guess what? There’s more where that came from.
Abundance in business and life is impossible to create when you’re busy re-reading the old story. So, it’s time to clear it out so you can write a new one.
Clarify. Step two means getting crystal clear on what your heart truly desires. In other words, sometimes we think we’re clear on what we want, but it’s really what someone else wants. Or it’s what we THINK we should do.
Then we end up with that “yucky” inner feeling of going down the wrong path. And we can even feel it in our body; with headaches, digestive issues or it’s just “a pain in the neck”.
Sometimes this happens because we don’t trust ourselves. Maybe we’ve made what we believe to be mistakes in the past, but really they’re just lessons.
So we need to listen to our guidance, trust it and have that clear vision for what we really want. Because in the end, it’s that vision that will drive us forward (in business, abundance and life) and attract the results we want.
Clear. This is step three. So we’ve cleared away the old junk, we know what our heart truly desires, but what happens when we’re headed down that path to abundance and it turns into an obstacle course?
Then it’s time to clear away the fears, step over the beliefs that are blocking us, and keep moving forward to the results that make our heart sing. And again, we need the right tools to do it.
And those tools run deep; on a level that is not one that we can normally see. We’ve got to dive into our soul and release the resistance and barriers that will inevitably try to get in our way.
After all, it’s how our mind tries to protect us from perceived “danger”. But it’s not really danger at all.
As healers, it can come up as: “What if I fail?” “How can I charge for this?” “What if people reject me for doing this?”
Well, these are invitations to keep going as you clear away the blocks. Clearing is the third antidote to feeling out of alignment and being out of our passion, purpose and prosperity.
In conclusion, this isn’t a time to give up, but a time to go within. And also; to avoid the pitfalls of allowing our mind to tell us that all of the answers are in our head, because they’re not.
They’re buried our heart; we just need guidance to dig deeper for Healing, Clarity and Clearing so we get on our path and stay on it. Then we receive the abundance that our soul has been longing for.
