Clarity at Mid-Life get unstuck Lose Weight

New Years Resolutions: 3 Steps To Success

If you want to finally make and not break your New Years resolution this year, take these three steps:

1. Get crystal clear on exactly what that looks like.

The mind needs absolute clarity in order to know which direction to go in, so be as specific as possible. Also, you don’t want to choose more than one goal such as: “I want to lose weight, stop drinking wine and find a better job”.

This is all too confusing.

Instead, you’ll need a clear path without wandering off in another direction. If you wander, then chances are you’ll never find your way back.

Being as specific as possible about the direction you’re going in will create long term success. (Journaling on this can help.)

2. Clear the fears, beliefs and other negative thoughts and emotions that are standing in your way.

This is the biggest hang-up. We get started down the path, and then we run into roadblocks.

For example: If we’re trying to lose weight and we haven’t healed the emotional cause of the eating, or worked through shifting habits (at a deep level), then we end up spinning our wheels.

This happens because our subconscious mind is running the show. We think we’re in control, but oh no, not so my friend.

The subconscious is over 80% of the mind, and you’ll need to go deep (preferably through meditation techniques) to heal whatever is holding you back.

3. Get support to stay on track.

If you’ve ever read the book “Think And Grow Rich”, then you know what I’m talking about. Published in the early 1900s, the book was a research project that studied the most successful people in the world at the time.

One of the main principals in the book is the power of the Mastermind, which is a group of people who support each other in achieving a goal.

So whatever you’re trying to achieve, choose a group with a similar goal (hopefully a positive group with a success mindset), and stick with it.

I have my own group for women healing healing and getting their life on track after a narcissist. You’ll find it here on Facebook: Women Healing After A Narcissist

If you’re serious about finally getting unstuck and on track to achieving your goals (and you’ve tried over and over without success), then consider getting some 1:1 help with that.

Sometimes asking for help is hard to do, and we want to believe we can do it on our own. But then when we finally realize it’s not working, getting that helping hand finally takes us to another level of success.
