We often like to tell ourselves stories.
One of those stories is “I’m too busy for that”.
Our heart is telling us that we really want to get that life coaching help that we’ve been craving, or to study something that’s going to take us to the next level, or read the book that might be life-changing for us.
But we can’t seem to find the time.
And that’s when it’s time to ask ourselves: “Is this really true? Can I not carve out even a single hour this week to focus on ME for a change?”
Even better yet, we should ask ourselves: “What am I avoiding and WHY?”
Are we afraid that we won’t succeed and we’ll be disappointed in ourselves?
Do we not have the belief that we can achieve something?
The subconscious mind is insidious, and it’s where these sneaky fears and beliefs are hiding. And ultimately what happens?
We compromise what we REALLY want.
And then we find ourselves weeks, months or even years later in the same boat. Still thinking about that dream. Still having the same desires, and we’re no further along.
I’m not saying it’s easy to break through those barriers, because life simply isn’t easy. It’s why we’re here.
After all, what do we learn when things are easy?
We’re meant to learn and grow in this life, but the only way we’re going to do it is by not allowing those pesky fears and beliefs to get in our way.
To have the strength and determination to “just say no” to those blocks that hold us back.
And to finally break through to ourselves, and be true to our own wants and needs. Because it’s our time to step into our power and shine our light into the world.
The last thing we want is to get to the end of our life without realizing our true purpose.
Because we won’t have helped those we could have helped, or be as effective as we could have been because we weren’t in our zone of genius. And that’s truly a loss for the world we live in.
So go climb that mountain in your life. Do it now, and don’t let excuses stand in your way. You’ve got this.
